I Need to Create My Own Wedding Invite Online and Print Them

I found invitationconsultants.com to be very reasonable and they have numerous designs to choose from. They also run specials often so you may find them cheaper than having to even buy the paper and print them yourself. Good luck and congratulations!

Try www.verseit.com for wording. Michael's and Hobby Lobby also have nice looking invites - I think most of them tell you how to do the set up.

Actually Walmart has some lovely paper stock along with template suggestions for use. The stock is inexpensive, but good quality. I used it for a wedding announcement and got rave reviews.

I created my own wedding invitations 2 years ago. I got ideas from various wedding invitation sites and Microsoft Templates (you can search and download ones that are compatible with your computer). I also got RSVP card stock from Walmart's wedding section. I bought the paper I wanted at a scrapbook store (along with ribbon or other embellishments) and printed everything on my home printer. Then, I had my family help cut and assemble everything at a family gathering. I know I saved a TON! You might also try photo developing websites like shutterfly or snapfish. You can print a photo invitation using their templates (I know shutterfly has hundreds of templates). If you want to save printing/postage, you might offer guests the option of RSVPing online or via email/phone. That will save on RSVP cards and return postage.

I applaude you for doing this. I did the same thing! I bought my invitation kit at Office Depot. I formated my invitations, announcements, and programs all in WORD...no templates needed. Then I printed them. They came out really good!! I did the church programs for my previous church, so it was easy for me. I only used WORD. My invitations and annoucements were 5 x 7, but my programs were on matching paper that matched my invitations (Party City), and they were 8 x 10(?). Then, I rolled the programs like scrolls, and tied them with ivory curly ribbon. Cute!!!
