There's a children's lighthouse, which is christian based, that is about to open if it's not already open on the corner of queenston and west road, behind the 19 hour fitness. I haven't heard anything about that particular one but I think Children's Lighthouse gets good reviews in general.
go to www.dfps.state.tx.us and search texas child care, search for daycare, fill in preference, age, and zip code(s) closest to you. once the list comes up you can click on the name and find out more information. including inspection dates and whether or not they had any violations at each inspection. you can click on the date and it will give you even more info, and then if you click on the violation number itself, there's even more info regarding that violation. i recommend to look for only those violations that pertain to the actual care and well-being of the children. i wish you the best of luck.
