Last week, right before Thanksgiving, our heater stopped working upstairs. We had someone from a place called Extreme Comfort (I had a coupon for a discounted service call) come and take a look. Turns out the furnace in the attic for the upstairs heater has a bunch of holes rusted in it which will cause the pilot light to go out anytime the heater turns on. He told us we need to replace the whole furnace. Wow, that was not an expense I saw coming! Anyways, he gave us an estimate on a couple of furnaces that they could install for us, but I was wanting to get a second opinion, just to compare prices. Anyone know of a reputable company in Flower Mound? Anyone you have used before and been pleased with both service and pricing? I tried to get an appointment with Home Depot (they do free estimates), but no one ever called back to make the appointment with me! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I just want to be sure we are not going to be taken advantage of! Thanks for your help!
Just used a company recommended by another Mamasource this am to fix our furnace. Collin Air Conditioning - ###-###-####. Very reasonable and Jimmy was the guy who came out for us. Fixed in less than 30 minutes too. I'll definately call them in spring to check a/c.
