"Everything but Water" is located in Deer Park and Woodfield. They are pricey, but a large selection. Good luck.
Hi moms, Does anyone know of a store that is currently selling swimsuits? I would prefer an actual store (not online) because I would need to try it on and am in a bit of a time crunch. We have a family event in two weeks at an indoor waterpark, and nothing from before baby can support my boobs since I'm still breastfeeding.
I've been to a few Targets, and I've only seen mismatches on clearance. Department stores seem to only have grandma suits, the one pieces with skirts and I'm not ready to go down that path. Dicks and Sports Authority didn't have anything! I'm looking for a bikini that doesn't show cleavage because I still have stretch marks up there. I'm a C cup and probably a small on bottom. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

The sporting good stores also well swimsuits all year round...you might end up with a sportier looking bikini but if you are trying to hide some cleavage, this might be a good option for you. Try Dick's or Sports Authority etc.
Lands End online, www.landsend.com sells swimsuits all year round.
There's a store at Northbrook Court (sorry, can't recall the name) that is ALL ladies swimsuits. It is fairly expensive but you can mix and match tops/bottoms and they do seem to be fairly good quality. From what I recall most pieces are at least $50-75. Congrats on your little one!
Water Tower Place also has a swimsuit store -- it might be the one others have mentioned at other malls, I just don't recall the name.
I long ago moved on to "mom" suits (even before DD!) and I find nice ones at Land's End. You can order multiple sizes and either send back or return them at a Sears.
I was at Target the other day and they had TONS of swimsuits. Usually any large department store will have them too.
what i do because i don't want the chlorine ruining my suit is just wear an old sportsbra under an old tanktop and a swimsuit bottom. i'm actually using a sportsshirt right now.
Ditto on Lands End. Sears carries the line but may not have them in stock yet. However you could order a few and then whatever you don't like you can return free of charge to Sears.
I think Tina's closet in Lisle sells swimsuits year round. Check out www.tinasclosetinc.com for their address/number etc and you can call them and get details. Not sure what their prices are like.
Good luck,
Aarti.
There is a store at Woodfield mall that I think is called "Everything But The Water" or something like that and all they sell are swimsuits. Congrats on your little one and being able to wear a bikini!

There use to be a swimsuit shop in Woodfield Mall. Call the mall and see if they're still there if noone has a solution.
The South Barrington Park district has swimsuits year round.
They are located on Barrington Road and Tennis Club Lane.
Hi A.:
Believe it or not, I have found my best bathing suits at Target! I found a few at a store, figured out the brands and sizes that work for me, and then I started ordering them online (since the selection is better). You could try ordering a few, try them on at home, then return what you don't like. Good luck!
