Does anyone have any good recommendations for a knowledgeable, honest and Ambitious Realtor/Broker in McHenry County??
We are looking to sell our home and don't want to waste time with inexperienced or lazy realtors. I need someone who is smart, assertive, good communicator, positive and proactive!! I want someone who will do marketing as well, online, direct, etc... incentives and other options, do whatever it takes to make the sell! ALSO, so important to me that they list in the MLS for the Board of Reltors, and that they not try to hoard their listings to their own office. Must be reasonable with fees.

My husband and I have bought and sold a house and then had our realtor give us an honest assessment on our new house when we thought we might move. She bent over backward to sell our last house and got it done in time for our closing on the new house. Her motto is "she wants to be your realtor for life"...she often sends us cards and even invited us to her office this past Christmas season to have our children get their pictures taken with Santa...it was very sweet. She sent us a CD of the pictures and gave the kids treats and stuffed animals while we were there. She's great. We really like working with her.

I know of a great realator. He goes above and beyond for his clients!! He is located in Marengo but does travel to any area! He has been in reality for some years now and I do recommend him very highly to everyone I know. He is the one we go to for reality!!!

Last year, we tried to sell our home by owner for six months without a single 2nd look. Three months after hiring Maureen our home was sold. She worked hard for us in selling our home and in buying our next home - we looked at a TON of houses before purchasing this one - at least 60!
What really attracted us to her was that she did not make us sign a 6 month exclusive right to sell contract. We didn't want to get stuck with someone if we felt they were not working for us. Turns out, she didn't need the contract b/c she was that good.
