Becca Scott at Visual Effects on Chinden, just west of Glenwood. Right behind Shari's. She's awesome! She's done my hair for 10 years (I'm 35). She always does a great job, and is really sweet, and always has fresh ideas for my hair.
I am fairly new to the area and need to find a good hairdresser. I was a hairdresser for 5 years in the state I used to live in before I had my son so I am pretty picky. What are the reputable salons around the Boise area and does anyone have a specific stylist that they just love? I am not too picky on the cost because I know you often get what you pay for. Please help, my hair is a mess!

Jennifer at Looks Unlimited on Overland Rd., I think she's great, I've referred a lot of people to her, and they ALWAYS leave happy, which is a hard thing to find in a hair dresser. She does great color, and I have always loved my haircuts too. And I think her prices are very reasonable.
I will also need a good hairdresser when I get to Boise. I know of two girls in the area that I have heard alot about. One is Cami at DV8 downtown and the other is Kathy at Rapunzel.
Are you going to return to doing hair once your kids are raised? I am also a hairdresser and am thinking about returning soon, that is why I ask.
I go to a wonderful man, Kevin Dossett ... he has his own shop on Overland. He's beyond wonderful and you have to schedule way in advance with him as he's always busy. give him a buzz ... ###-###-####
I know you'll love him as much as I do if you go to him,
