I don't know what is going on with my life lately. It just seems to go from bad to worse. Don't get me wrong I thank God every day for what I have and my faith has kept me going. We bought a car, which turned out that it needed a lot of work, spend money on it and it's still not fix. Then the car we do have broke down on Friday and now 2 cars not running, im not sure how my husband will go back to work. If you seen my previous post about health scare, with lyme and lupus. Thanks God it was a wrong diagnosis. But on Sunday my husband who is diabetic had a cut at the bottom his foot which he went to the ER. He will be home until wed but every time he walks his foots gets a little swollen and kind of red. I don't know what is going on with me and my fam I just pray to God it will all go back to normal. Is my daughter's birthday this week and I feel like i can't enjoy it with my husband like this. I am so scare that won't heal and it would become something worse. For anyone that prays please keep us in your prayers. Thank you

Hi J.,
I truly know how you feel. Below is a link from a message preached by an associate pastor at my church. Pastor Steve Hines talks about enduring in the midst of disappointments. I hope this message blesses you. After the praise team is done singing, his wife speaks for a few minutes and then he takes over from there. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/4197978

Also, you asked for anyone who prays; I volunteer with Women of Faith Prayer Ministries. We hold conference calls for women who are in need of prayer and we intercede for them live over the phone. This takes place at 7pm cst Mondays & Thursdays; 9am cst Tuesdays; and 6am Saturdays. You can join them by calling ###-###-#### passcode 107197#. You can submit your prayer request to Vanessa Jackson (founder/director, when you first call in. You can also leave a confidential request 24/7 on her voice mail at ###-###-####. Just let her know that M. #1 referred you. (There's 2 M.'s.... Nothing spectacular about me.. LOL)

I pray that all responses you receive from your post will be encouraging and helpful!

In His Name!

J.,

I will add you to our prayer list. Many people are having a bad time. If your husbands foot continues to be red, take him back to the MD. Cannot take any chances with a diabetics foot.

Keep the Faith.

I will keep you in my prayers. Sometimes it seems like it is just one thing after another, but be strong. I think things will get better soon. My dad used to say that things always happen in three's, so maybe your three have happened and now if you think possitive, things will start getting better.

Wow, it seems like everything hits all at once sometimes, doesn't it? I've read your previous posts and it looks like you have been struggling for awhile... now the health issues with your husband adding to all of this stress...

I wish it was as easy as saying "hang in there, it will get better", but that would just be annoying. It's time to take charge of your life.

Knowledge is power, get information about diabetes and how you can help your husband recover. Then you need to either get a new doctor for yourself or get a reference so that you can find out what is going on with your health. You have so much stress in your life right now, this can contribute to your health problems.

I know that it's hard to enjoy your daughter's birthday with two dead cars in your driveway, but try to escape for a day and have fun with her. Keep it simple and just enjoy her on her big day.

Things do have a way of working out - keep your faith strong and we will be praying for you.

sounds like you have hit a rough spot. and also sounds like you are a praying woman, so thats a good thing to be. i will pray for you too. sometimes are just worse than others so cling to God, seek his will for your life, and He will get you through. pray pray pray, take a deep breath, concentrate on your blessings *a husband and child*, and keep an eye on his foot. i would suggest finding a good orthopedic doc to check it out. could be infection. keep it clean, propped, and iced when hurting. antibiotics may be needed.

www.biblegateway.com (For you to review the scriptures I will give you in different versions of God's word. Try the Message and the Amplified)

Go and get your Bible woman of faith. Get to your prayer closet. It is prayertime.

1 Peter 4:12-13, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Corinthians 2:3-5, Hebrews 4:2

Meditate on this word both day and night. Flood your mind with God's promises. Drown out your worries with the Word of God.

Get yourself some praise music and wear it out. I would recommend Israel & New Breed "Live from Another Level".

Be encouraged, stand strong, exercise your faith, and make it through.

Its seems like once one thing goes wrong so does everything else. My husband and I have been on a constant "what next" road to for a while now, but I try to just keep it in perspective and remember that it can always be worse and there are others out there dealing with FAR WORSE issues. You are not alone. But I also know that its hard when you feel the way you do. Hang in there. Focus on the most important things - your husbands health and your daughter's happinenss - and yours too. The other things are really meaningless in the grand scheme of things. You need to pray and you need to change your thinking b/c I honestly believe that negative thoughts bring on more negative occurences. So much easier siad than done I KNOW - TRUST ME. Do whatever you can to clear your head. Take a walk, listen to some of your favorite music. When you "destress" you have a clearer head and are able to physically and mentally handle all obstacles in your life. Just sit quietly, alone for a while and breathe deeply and slowly, pay attention to heart, body and mind and you will find the strength you need. God is with you - he will give you what you need, you need to just find it within.
