I Am Looking for in Home Childcare

Sorry I have called some people but did not find anyone. I have recently been looking at daycare centers (most of which have waiting lists) and homebased daycare. You can get a list of liscened homedaycare from the state dept. Good Luck

I would post my requirement on newyork.craigslist.org. Its a free listing that I used to hire a nanny for my son. On the link you have the option to select fairfield county thereby allowing you to only get responses from prospective nannies in and around your area.

i have a fabulous woman who cared for my daughter for her 1st year. she is available. she charges $15/hr and does not drive. i do know she's been out of work for some time so her price may be negotiable. she is truly amazing and we adore her. if the price is OK with you and you live near public transportation let me know and I'll pass her name and number onto you. we lived in east norwalk and she took the train (we picked her up) and then when we moved to Stratford, she took the bus and walked from the stop around the corner. at times it was a problem but the trade-off is someone who is trustworthy and reliable and adores children - our daughter calls her nana!
