A couple of natural things you can do (and continue to do to reduce the chances of re-occurrence) is to take a broad-range pro-biotic (in other words, more than just acidophilus). Also, a well-known juice is cranberry juice (with not added sugars or 'flavors' - just read the label). Neither of these will hurt you or your baby, will help prevent more infections. Be sure you're drinking plenty of water as this sometimes is a cause of UTI's.
As far as the antiobiotics, if you take them, be SURE to take the pro-biotics after to replenish the 'friendly flora' in your intestinal tract.
