You will need to come up with a name for your blog (it was capturingexpressions in my case), and then confirm with them that it is available. (you just type it in and it will come up as an option or you need to keep trying until you find something available. Good luck! L.

I have 3 private blogs with www.blogger.com (my family's, our Girl Scout Troop's and our Cheer Squad's). I am not computer savvy, but it was really easy to set up and maintain. It pretty much just asked you step by step questions and then it was created. Good luck.

Hi M.! Its real easy. Go to www.blogspot.com (owned by Google). You'll get all signed up with an account (if you don't already have a google account). You'll want to pick a nifty name for your site because it will be part of the blog's address (myniftyname.blogspot.com). Once you get in there, you will need to "Customize" and setup the look and feel. You can start very basic and pick a default template offered by blogspot. You can add "widgets" to your page - to put some info about yourself - links to other sites/blogs, etc. Feel free to play around and experiment before you tell the world about your blog.

this is all free. you can allow your blog to be public or not public. You won't need to install any software since this is web based.
