How to Show Appreciation for So Many of You?!

Over the months I've been on mamapedia I've answered a lot of questions based on my experiences as a mom - toilet training, ADHD, sleeping through the night, breast feeding, careers, teachers, etc. And I've asked a few questions as well - about teenagers mostly since that's the season I'm in and that's the stuff I have only limited experience with and need the most help for! I was looking back at the answers everyone has given and I'm just so blessed and impressed by the diversity of women and the quality of the information and how encouraging and supportive everyone is! While there's an occasional response where a person is judgemental or critical for the most part everyone is just great! I think one of the best things is hearing the perspectives of people who wouldn't otherwise hear from - young, old, conservative, liberal, single moms, long-time married moms, etc. Many of us are old enough to be grandmothers and some of the moms here are young enough to be my child - but isn't it great?

So I just wanted to thank all you mamas for sharing your hearts and lives!

Shucks. I thought you were gonna take us all on a cruise ;)
It is a good site. I think most of us that really "get it" for what it is, love it.

I totally & completely agree with you!! I get such enjoyment from this site, while sometimes it can drive me absolutely batty. Basically, it's like a big extended family in a way where there are some that you are closer with, some you know are a little nutty, some you couldn't live without & some you wish you'd never hear from again. Even with all of that, I truly value the experience & different opinions.

It is wonderful! I look forward to it with a cup of coffee. Also, when I need to think about something other than my own BS...LOL! I know the majority of us come here for support and understanding, but some have a different agenda and that goes with anything. I also like seeing the "regulars"...ALOT of us are here on a regular basis, which is great. Thanks ladies...nice post NY mom!

Thanks goes a long way.

I enjoy helping people. I have a lot of experiences, some good, some not so good. I have stepped in a lot of the potholes in the road of life and I try and let people know where they are so they don't have to step in them too. Some agree with me and my outlook on life and some don't. That's life.

Thanks, again. Good luck to you and yours.

I so agree with you! I like the variety of responses I get here. Sure I have a sister with kids and all my friends have kids and they could answer my questions, but I allready know what they are going to say about something or they may allready have an opinion so its nice to have a totally unbiased person provide insight on something. I know you personally have answered a lot of my questions with well thought out answers. Thanks!
