I have gotten black pen ink out with rubbing alcohol (we have little wipes), hairspray, I think hand sanitizer will too .. but I've only done it on a tiny spot before. I'd be inclined to take to a dry cleaner too if it was noticeable and good slipcover. I could always throw out the white shirts I was trying to get pen out of.

White? Really?
I'm in awe of your bravery.
White anything wouldn't survive 5 minutes at my house.

Try a spot remover - or an ink remover.
If worse come to worse - dye the whole thing another color.

Welcome to mamapedia!

Bleach?

Why would you have white slipcovers? Sorry - but really. Whit is for a room that is never used.

Since you know how to google - I googled this:

try it and see what you find out! I don't know what fabric you have. I don't know what kind of ink "catiage" is - is that CARTRIDGE? I don't know.

I was just de-inking over the weekend. A quiet 4 yr old with a black pen is a dangerous thing. I used the go to hair spray which always works for me. I used baby wipes to get the 'make up' off her face aka black pen. Worked ok but after reading this thread I'll try hand samitizer next time.

I don't know. I would probably google the type of ink and methods to remove it from fabric. Then use that solution on the spot only.

I suggest you take it to dry cleaners and ask. THEY deal with all sorts of stains. I had a favorite cotton washable coat. A ry cleaner took the car's greasy spots out. They just spot cleaned it.
