Considering they don't make them any more and when they did the head was not removable I am thinking you are a very odd troll.

Now my son cut his into a million pieces when he was seven because that doll terrified him. As I recall the head was detached at that point.

I didn't know they still made these. Do you have a newer one or a more "vintage" one? I imagine the materials might vary. I'd send an email to the customer service department of the manufacturer. Put in more detail that what you've written here, including whether it's general dirt/grime or something special that was spilled on it. I've found that many good companies usually get back to customers within 24 hours.

You might want to talk to a doll hospital about this.
I've read that you can't put it in the washer/dryer - the plastic will melt.
Maybe you can put it in a pillow case and wash it in the wash machine on cold, then hang it to air dry.
You might spot clean it.
If the clothes are attached and can't be removed - once you've got it cleaned - put some kids clothes on it over it's own clothes - it'll be easy to wash the real clothing.
