Muscle burns fat. There's no way around that.
So before you can shrink the fat on your butt you first have to build muscle to BURN the fat. Your butt didn't get to be the size it is overnight or in a few months, so it might take a little while to get it exactly where you want it.
Your butt will get tighter and rounder from doing the squats as you build muscle. After you've built muscle, the fat will burn off. So in essence, it might get larger before it gets smaller. But it WILL get smaller. Just keep going!
