I would like to replace some of my mom's silverware for a gift, but I have no idea what the pattern is called. Any idea how I would go about doing this? I've tried looking on-line, but I can't find it. It's Mikasa, but I don't have a clue if it's been discontinued. I've been to the Mikasa site, Replacementsltd.com, amazon, ebay...I've tried looking on google, but no luck. Any other suggestions?

Do you know where she bought it? I would maybe take a piece of it into Macy's or somewhere and ask the ladies in the china dept. Many of them have crazy memories for that sort of thing and even if they don't know, they may have more resources available to them in the form of books, etc. Good luck!
You can go to replacements.com and email them a photo. They can tell you and they have now lowered their prices to be quite comparable.
What if you call Mikasa themselves? I had something similar with a Crate and Barrel item and when I talked to them, they were able to find what I was looking for. Good luck!
I was a buyer for all of that type merchandise for years. There is the possibility it was discontinued many, many tears ago.
Your best bet is to look for "Mikasa flatware patterns "on google.
Then look f for Mikasa discontinued flatware patterns.. This will help with the research part so that if you can find the pattern you can then search for the actual pieces you need..
Is it stainless or silverplate?
