The best daily email that I get can be found by subscribing to Jen's List. Her list goes out to over 3500 people in and around LA. Go to www.jenlevinson.com and sign up for free. You can also post to it for free once you are a subscriber. You'll find a daily email- easy to read format (don't let the archives scare you) with TONS of stuff from great on-line stores, to recall alerts to seminars to nanny's or housekeepers that come recommended from other list members. I tell everyone I know about it and every mom says it's the best piece of info they've gotten as a mom!

A good place to look is sittercity.com
They have profiles, background checks, and you can match your needs with what is out there in your area. I have found a few great sitters on that website. They might have housekeepers too, but I'm not sure. Good luck.

S., my housekeeper/nanny is great. I don't need her as much because both my kids are in nursery school and I would love to find her additional work because she was so good to me and my kids.
