I need to find someone to help me with a deep clean for my home. Our family business is taking over and I need some help keeping up plus we have guests coming in and i'd like it to be nice and fresh. At this time, I am looking for a one time deep cleaning help, however, someone coming in twice a month or so in the future is not out of the question. It is a bit overwhleming because we are in the process of looking for some office space to get the business out of the house.
The last time I had a deep clean service, it was horrible. The lady in charge quoted me $150 for my 4000 sq ft house. I questioned her because I expected it to be more than that. She said no no and had me sign her contract which I did for $150. During the cleaning, she kept making remarks about my housecleaning habits. I got upset because she was judging me and practically told me I was a bad housekeeper, which I am not...... My house was in need of a deep clean because at the time, I had been wearing a knee brace over a month and gone to physical therapy which is why it was not in tip top shape.
To top things off, halfway through the job she wanted more $$. I ended up paying her $275 which I felt was overboard. Also, I put out a couple bottles of water and sodas for them to have one (trying to be nice here)...well, I turned around and ALL the sodas and waters were gone. That is ok but gees....THEN they ask me for old cloths and towels. I felt totally humiliated and ripped off.
I will be working along with whomever is here so that the job will be easier. I will note, I have 3 dogs that do bark but I have gated areas to keep them away from anyone working in the home. I'd like to get this done before spring break on March 12.
