Any suggestions about what kind of device to use to check humidity in a room and any recommendations on brand. Also has anyone restrapped lounge chairs? Is that do-able.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well I now know where to get the hydrometer (I don't know how to spell it either : ) ) and I read up in detail on how to restrap. Thanks to you ladies I can get moving. Gosh, you ask a question and the gifted and talented are right there to help. You are a super group.

To measure humidity...use a hygrometer (not sure my spelling is exact).

My daughter had a science fair project and we bought a hygrometer at Lowe's for about $15.

I don't know anything about lawn chairs.

I have restrapped lounge chairs before. It is a little time consuming & can be done. The harder part is to find the replacement strapping. It might be cheaper to buy a new chair.

I am actually looking for the same thing (humidity gauge). I thank you for asking the question!

I am headed to Home Depot and Lowes to find one :)
