Bean Bag Chairs

I'm thinking of getting my kids bean bag chairs for Christmas. We have several kid sized chairs, but they're all had plastic. Not very comfortable for cozying up and watching a movie or reading a book. Does anyone have bean bag chairs for their kids? Are they used? Where did you get them from? I like to buy things that are going to last, but I don't want to have to spend a fortune either. I also don't want it to fall apart! My girls are 3.5 and 14 months, so I want the chairs to be small. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

My boys are getting seats similar to this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/Disney-Toy-Story-Saucer-Chair/1... for christmas. The ones we got had a fleece cushion and they fold up we found them when they had the back to school college sales. We looked at bean bags last year and they were huge (well too big for the space we have) and they were expensive even the cheap ones.

My son is 2.5 and we got him a big red beanbag from Target about 6 months ago. We don't use it every day, but it's nice to have when the couch is full of people and no other 'soft' chairs to sit in. I think it was on sale for $30 or $35. We made sure to spray on a whole bunch of Scotch Guard to help protect the fabric from stains (it's fabric, not that shiny plastic). No stains yet, but again - we don't use it every day.

We bought some for our kids last Christmas...my kids were one and four at the time. After searching hours online and finding HUGE (and really expensive) bean bag chairs at furniture stores, I walked into Target and accidentally found the perfect sized chairs. And they only cost $20. For my son we got a plain red one and for my daughter, hers looks like an owl and is just a little smaller. Our bean bag chairs get used pretty regularly. Storing them is a little hassle (I keep them stacked in a closet in the living room), but worth it for us. They read, lounge and cuddle up to watch movies on them. The only thing I wish I could change is the cover can only be removed off one of them. They haven't needed too much washing because we are careful, but it would be nice if the covers came off both. I have used the steam cleaner on the one without the cover before. With both bean bag chairs, I made sure the beads were not accessible to my kids. I know someone who walked in to beads everywhere, when her little one figured out the zipper.
