An ornament for their tree? A pretty holiday candle? Gourmet hot chocolate? These are small, inexpensive but thoughtful gifts.
PS Have fun :)
Tonight I am going to my first cookie exchange in my new neighborhood with a bunch of ladies I don't know! I hope the cookies that I will be making today are a hit!
Anyway, I just realized I should take a hostess gift, right? I made homemade trash (spicy Chex mix) yesterday, so I thought I would wrap some of that up in a pretty bag, but should I take something else? Wine? I don't know if they drink or not . . .
Any suggestions? Is the trash enough? If wine, what kind? Something else? Let me hear it!!!
Thanks, Ladies! I took the homemade trash, two pair of Christmas socks, and a nice pair of gloves. It gets COLD up here!! :)

I have no idea but the first thing I thought was only chex would come up with puppy chow and trash. sorry I am no help. cookie cutters maybe?
A cool water bottle. After eating all those cookies I'm guessing everybody will be needing to work-out afterwards. :)
I'd say either a bottle of wine, or maybe something healthy-ish for people to nibble on.... like a bowl of grapes or strawberries. I don't think you HAVE to bring something - just bringing the cookies to a cookie exchange should be sufficient! - but it's better to have a little something extra than to feel later like you should've but didn't.
