I've been doing a little research, and I have to say I'm very interested. Any experiences, thoughts, opinions?

I'm looking for a homeopath to check out in Cincinnati, any suggestions on practitioners in my area or on how to conduct my search?

What can I do next?

Hi J.,

I believe that homeopathy can fix about anything given a proper amount of time. Some people resort to homeopathy because medical science fails and then they don't wait long enough for results or they continue to poison themselves with lifestyle or meds and fight off all the benefits that they may receive.

You're best bet is to google Homeopath or Natural Doctor in your city. The next step is to call around to the chiropractic clinics in your area and ask who they recommend. I've found Upper Cervical specialists (www.ucspine.com) understand the immune system better than some chiropractors. I also believe that this specialty can help a lot of the same issues that Homeopaths can. My husband's type 2 diabetes is managed by diet and chiropractic. He fell on his pancreas two years ago and it threw him into the disease. His numbers were in the low 500s and now they are consistently in the low 100s....

I can recommend one in the Atlanta area if you can't find anyone and maybe he can suggest a colleague in your neck of the woods.

God bless,

M.

I have had very good experiences with homeopathy. It has helped some issues I've had immensely. My best advice in finding a homeopathic Dr., is to check out North American Society of Homeopaths. You can search for a Dr. on the site.

As with any kind of doctors there are good homeopathic ones and bad ones. Homeopathy works for some people and some illness and not for others.

My brother is an acupuncturist and he studied Chinese Herbs and homeopathy. It has helped my back pain and also a hormone imbalance. It has helped my mom's hormone imbalance and my dad's digestive problems. It did not help my dad's high blood pressure.

I say you should do a lot of research and get a good homeopath that you trust. I wouldn't expect it to cure all ills, but in many cases it helps where modern medicine has failed or has a lot of side effects.

Best of luck!

I really don't understand why people think they have to believe in homeopathic medicine or not. It is a form of medicine and like all medications: some work, some don't. If you are treating a chronic condition and want to try it, do it...But, don't give up on your modern-medicine doctor. Let them know what homeopathic medications you are taking. Just remember: Homeopathic medications are Medications, they have side effects and drug interactions too.

I'm a little late in answering this, but our homeopathist here in Houston does phone consultations for people who are too far away. He's also an M.D. His website is http://homeopathyyes.com

I am into homeopathy. I think too many people rely too much on medication for everything. Instead of trying the natural approach.

One thing I found very helpful was.
www.osteomed2.com/
They helped me find a dr. near akron. so I'm pretty sure they can help you too.
Oh and check out Dr. Tenpenny's website. She is VERY helpful. You can also contact her on Facebook. Probably should mention she's the founder of osteomed :)
