I am looking for a good homeopathic doctor for my 9yr. old son near Santa Clara area. I don't mind driving little farther to Palo Alto or mountain view if the doctor is good. Does anyone have a recommendation?

What can I do next?

You might be looking for a naturopathic doctor (ND), not a homeopathic one. There are a number of medical doctors (MDs) who also are NDs. This seems to provide understanding of both eastern and western medicines and provides holistic solutions.

Given that homeopathic "remedies" are no more effective than placebos, I find it difficult to believe than any real doctor would only practice homeopathic "medicine." Frankly, I find it difficult to believe that any medical doctor/MD would practice homeopathic "medicine" unless he/she really believed in the power of placebo.

You can be a homepathic doctor. My cousin's cancer doctor is one. He has a MD. He is listed as a homepathic doctor. In addition to using main stream medicine he used homeopathic remedies.

I have a great one in San Diego but that's too far for you. If you get desperate, I can ask her for a recommendation for you.

I'm pretty sure that you can be a homeopath or a doctor, but not both. If you are looking for a doctor that is more whole-body oriented, then I recommend finding a D.O. They tend to have more of a body/mind/lifestyle investigation approach re. health.
