Liberty Natural is one supplier near portland, Or. One of my favorite books is the Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy. I make my husbands after shave using a recipe I adopted from there. As for the lotion I make my own using a 1 part liquid oil to 2 parts solid oil, depending on the time of year I use Avocado, Shea Butter, Coconut oil....

does it have to be homemade or healthy hypo-allergenic with vitamins? If the later let me know and I can recommend for you.

Vancouver WA cross the border to Portland. All sorts of great lotions and shampoos can be found in Jeanne Rose's herbal books. There are 6 of them.

Herbs can be bought on line and the ingredients like glycerin as well and the clay is to be found in herb shops. Have a fun time doing all of it. Don't forget Powell's for the books either new or second hand.

I hear you can use straight coconut oil and it makes a great body lotion. Haven't done it myself but it's supposed to work really well.
