My home is 2500 square feet and I pay $80. 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. I can give you a referral if you are in need of someone.
Would like to know if anyone could give me a price on what they pay for someone to come in and clean your house twice a month? This would include...dusting, vaccuming, sweep & mop floors, clean bathrooms. House is relatively small maybe 1200-1400 sq ft. There are pets, both cats and dogs.
This would be very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who responded to my request. It was tremendously helpful.

Hey L.,
I live in a suburb of Nashville and have paid $60-75 in the past for roughly the same square footage. Sometimes the first cleaning was a bit more.
Hope that helps. Enjoy--it's such a wonderful thing to come home and concentrate the time on your family that you would have spent cleaning. Well worth the expense if you have the option.
I know some hispanic women. Some of then charge any where fron $70 to $90 depending on their drive and the amount of work.

My home is approx the same sq ft and I pay $65.
It runs approx $75 every two weeks. If you have it done weekly, it is cheaper b/c they keep up with it and don't have as much to do. If you use a service, it is about this much for even your size house. My house is 1700 and it was $75. If you use a person who does this on her own, it may run cheaper. You may find it about $60 every two weeks. If you get it done once a month it would run about $125 or so. It is worth the little extra to have it done more often since you pay so much to have it done less. I would go with a person whe does it on her own b/c they are more personal, they learn what you like, and they usually do a better job and are not hurrying off to their next appt. You can get referrals for good, trustworthy ones. It depends on how many pets too. I have one dog and one cat but I keep it pretty clean, or at least others say I do. I have a dog that sheds BADLY but I vacuum all the time so it depends on how bad yours is to begin with. I only did it once and got blinds and fans, etc done, lucky you! Enjoy!

Most house keepers do an evaluation and then give you a bid. I have found in my experience that they do not like to do pricing on the phone. They usually charge more for the first cleaning. My mom does houses and charges a very reasonable fee, but she does the evaluation first. I would say though you will be looking at 65-75 dollars a cleaning, but that is just an estimate.
