OH good grief when does this stop? Quit feeling guilty and enjoy the precious time you have alone with your daughter. IT NEVER COMES BACK. There, take that from a recent empty nester. I MISS MY KIDS.
I am feeling guilty because my daughter who is 18 months and myself are home a lot since the coldish weather set in. I go to a playgroup once a week, and we don't really have any friends to hang with. She is going to a twice a week school in Sept. but I just feel bad about not getting out more. (we do grocery and stuff, but that is not social for her.. )

head out to your local library! Lots of toddler activities there.
What about the library for storytime, museums, playground at the mall, indoor playcenter, take a walk thru the mall and talk about all the cool things there are to see-my kids used to love the fountains and such at that age, Chik-fil-a play area, check to see if there is a mom's group in your area. the mom's groups always are in the know when it comes to things to do with the little ones.
What helped me when my kids were that age was a local Mom's club that met often and the ECPTA (Early Childhood PTA). Both had lots of activities for me and the kids.
Yes to library too! Just play there and she'll meet kids. My daughter's favorite friends are from ours.
Library! even if it there isn't an organized event, they often have a child place- we are going this morning since my daughter is on "winter break" from preschool.
Also the jump places have been a huge save for us! they have open play at our local mall all day long!
