I delivered a beautiful baby 7 months back I got lots of pimples during pregnancy.Doc said it may be because of the hormone changes and I should be back to normal after my delivery. But now its almost 7 months and I still have very bad acne and acne scars.I am still breastfeeding my baby. Can u any of u please suggest any home remedy or any product which I can take even though I am breast feeding.

Thanks in advance -

Try topical erythromycin (sp?). It is totally safe for the baby as it is a topical antiobiotic that is locally absorbed. Your doctor can prescribe it for you. The pregnancy hormones may remain until your baby is weened.

I had the same problem. The good news: everything returns to normal after the baby is weened. Good luck! I hope this helps!

My niece uses Clear Advantage from Arbonne. There is a cleanser, lotion and even vitamins. She said it works really well. She tried pro active and it dried her skin out but she has very sensitive skin. let me know if you want more information. Hope this helps;)

Strong topical remedies can still be absorbed into your bloodstream, so I would seek the advice of your Dr. and see what he prescribes that will not effect your milk. If many meds are not considered safe for pregnant women, they usually are not safe for nursing mothers either (of course, some are safe).

I am in the same boat, and yes, it's no fun! Everything that is considered safe to use while nursing, doesn't work for me, so I just try to get a little sun, a clean face, use mineral make-up and not touch my face or scrub/wash it too often throughout the day and drink a lot of water.

BLESS YOUR HEART! I had the EXACT same problem! No joke!!! This is actually what lead me to my current occupation, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE... I tried everything i could from home remedys to all that CVS had to offer. I couldn't afford the mall so didn't even go there...

I'm a Mary Kay consultant and when I got pregnant, my skin changed so much! I started the product before I became a consultant because of all my issues while I was pregnant. They worked so well to correct the problem, I was afraid to stop using it, so I've been hooked ever since. I don't even have the once a month "issues" that I had before pregnancy!

Shortly after having baby and still very much in love with the product I became a consultant. That may not be something you desire (although its the perfect WAHM opportunity out there!) but I'm telling you the product worked wonders!

It wasn't even anything special or extra medication or anything at all! It was just a matter of finding the right combination of formulas for my particular skin type. Which is why its so great to have a consultant rather then shopping off a shelf...

I'd love to show you what we have. It wouldn't hurt anything and who knows it may just be exactly what you need! :o) It was for me! Oh yeah, and the 100% guarantee was all the difference for me! If it didn't work (I had to try a couple different options along the way which was NO problem) you aren't obligated to anything! No 30 day policy or not after you've opened it or anything! We take it all back, no problem! There's no risk to give it a try! :o)
