Good Afternoon Ladies,
Please help me, I have been looking for a bakery in the Sacramento area for a bakery that carries a print or a kit with the cheetah girls on it. My daughter will be 8yrs old on the 23rd of May and we're planning a cheetah girls slumber party (Our 1st "birthday" slumber party) and im having a hard time finding this print for her cake. I had no clue it would be this hard but i have looked at a few different stores including Safeways, Save Max(used to be Albertson's), Cake Castle but still nothing. I still have a couple of weeks so im not going to panic but PLEASE HELP.
This is my first entry for help but i thank you all in advance cause i read everyday so im looking forward to the help. Thank you again ladies:-)

M.,
Call Lisa Marie of the Sweetest things. I'm sure she could make a fabulous cake! It's amazing what she does with frosting. She's a member too. ~S.

Try locating an image online and Sam's Club will actual place the image (and it will be edible) on the cake!
Good Luck!
Here is an idea...get one of her favorite Cheetah girls pics(or print one off the internet) and have the photo scanned and put on the cake, then buy some candles/trinkets to match to put around the photo. I think lots of bakeries do that. I had my engagement photo scanned on my wedding shower cake(I think sams club did it.) I am not exactly sure what the Cheetah Girls are so I cant name particular trinkets...that I will leave up to you. Good luck.
Hi M.,
I don't know who the cheetah girls are, but you might want to try eBay. We just went to our neighbor's son's b-day party, and the theme was the Little Einsteins. It is difficult to find Little Einsteins stuff in stores, so she went to eBay and found this edible sugar screen/airbrush print (don't know what it's exactly called) with a picture of the Little Einsteins, which she laid laid right on top of her cake (that she baked herself). It was very cute and was done in purple tones/colors. I don't know what this item is exactly called, but let me know if you can't find them on eBay so I can ask my neighbor for you. This may be what you're looking for, and perhaps there's something with the cheetah girls theme. The other place I'd suggest is a wonderful bakery in Sacramento called Freeport Bakery on Freeport Blvd. They would probably be able to design a cake for you, although this option would be pricier than getting a sugar print on eBay. Hope this helps!
/you might want to try the Bel Air/Raley's stores, can't remember if they had Cheetah girls but they do have big varieties.

In the past, Sam's Club has scanned in pictures on cakes--contact them first to make sure there is no copyright problem. Good luck and have fun at the party!
M.,
I have your solution!!!!!
Download a picture of the Cheetah Girls(from the internet or maybe your daughter already has a pic of them or an album cover? sorry cd cover...) take the picture to ANY bakery & they will put the picture on the cake!!!!!! yeh!!!!
I did this recently for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary! I took a copy of thier wedding photo, went down to Raley's & asked them to put it on the cake...it turned out wonderful!! My mom cried, then they saved the part of the cake with thier picture & are saving it(in the freezer) for thier 51st!! (just like when you save the top tier of your wedding cake & eat it on the 1st ANniversary)
Anyway, almost any bakery can do this for you, I'm suprised none of them mentioned it to you....
Good Luck, hope she has a great b day party...
If you can't find anything, would you consider making a cake? You can purchase a cake pan in the shape of a star and frost it in pink and purple. Maybe decorate it with a toy microphone or something like that.
My mom and I own a party planning business. We have done some creative cakes in the past, we also do custom cookies and cupcakes. Contact me if you want to see some photos or get more information.

I have purchased sugar images off ebay of popular themes(Hannah Montana) They are easy to use and you can put it on the cake yourself. Just thought I might offer the suggestion.
Check out Raley's, Costco and Sam's... they all have binders to pick designs out in the bakery area.
