Ah yes, summer time is here. I have noticed horrible razor bumps/ingrown hairs down the inside of my legs, starting near bikini line and ending about 6 inches above the knee. Is there anything I can do to prevent them or after they surface, cover and/or heal them!? They look horrible!!

Try a product called Tend Skin. I believe that you can order it through Sephora, or maybe even drugstore.com. I had a problem with razor bumps at my bikini line until I started using this product. Just make sure you use it after you shave and then maybe each day until it clears up and then you don't have to use it as often. It is not cheap, and smells a bit vinegary, I think, but it is totally worth it.

I get bumps horribly...I love the Mango Cream Shave from Trader Joe's, I believe it is Vegan and Paraben free, and I have been using it for years...I LOVE IT. It is super cheap too, big bottle is like 3 bucks. All the women and men in my family use it. I used to get horrible out breaks under my arms and I no longer get it. For the price it is worth a try. Also, moisture does not help that issue. You should try baby powder or some kind of talc between your legs, it should help to keep it dry. I get horrible "chubb rub" between my legs in the summer when I wear skirts...sometimes I find it is better to let it run it's course to toughen up your skin. Hope it clears up...I know how awful (and embarrassing) it can be!

make sure your razor is clean and try one w/one blade or several, whatever you aren't using.

the one blade razors worked better for me

Got a great tip once - for the hairs up near your bikini line and down the insides of your thighs, which may be a bit coarser - you have to shave WITH the grain, in the direction the hairs are growing...this for me means shaving in a downward motion (as opposed to upwards, like I do from ankle to knee on the lower half of my leg). It seriously ended my razor burn problem! Now, the shave might not be as close, but if you use this technique along with a good moisturizing shave cream and a sharp razor, it should help to get it as close as possible.
