Anyone have any idea how to clean urine out of a mattress? Any suggestions would be great, thank you!

So What Happened?

Thank You for the responses! I ended up using an upholstery cleaner and warm water on a washcloth. I let it dry for a few hours and then used a little Febreze. Seems ok so far but if not I will have to get The Little Green Steam Cleaner as all of you other moms suggested. Thanks again!

I have found that the Woolite Pet + Oxygen Stain & Odor Remover works really well. After or before using the Little Green steam cleaner.

use the little green machine. It has very good suction and will suck out as much liquid as it puts in during the cleaning. I add a water, mild soap, and vinegar mixture. Vinegar is a odor neutralizer and should take the smell away. Good luck.

Pet products for accidents can be useful too. Just go to the pet store, they have lots of different brands.
Good luck!

Call a Upholstry cleaner or dry cleaner and ask them what the best way is to clean the stain. After that make sure to buy a good mattress pad that is also waterproof. You will be so glad you did. . . Your mattress will then remain stain free and always be protected.
