Ok, to make a relay long story short, I am having Kidney probloms but my doctor can not figure out what is wrong with me. I went in in april, with a kidney stone, and had to get the scope thing done to get it out. When the doctor whent in though I had allready passed it. Went back in July because I thought I had yet another stone. The doctor did an x ray and ct but could not find one, but said my uritha ( the tube that goes from your kidney to your bladder was swollen wich made him beleve I had passed a stone, but I was still having lots and lots of pain, so they did another surgery to see if I had a stone stuck somewere but ofcorse I did not. Anyhow, the pain has never goan away. So today I had to go back (this is a kidney doctor by the way) and now he wants to do a ct with contrast from an IV and I have to keep a bladder diary (how much I drink and how much I pee) oh yes and the doctor was very concerned about how much I drink a day, I only drink water and I am going through a 24 pack of waterbottles by 3:00 in the afternoon, and I do need to pee all of the time, wich would make sence, except that when I have to go my kidney or something hurts real bad until I can go, and I got to go realy bad like I have been holding it forever. anyhow I was just wondering if any of you have had similer experances and what ended up being wrong with you, or if anyone has any ideas. thank for your help!

What can I do next?

Honestly, I cannot relate with regard to kidney issues thank G-d but I have had some health scares over the years and I know the feeling of being terrified not knowing what the worst or best could be. It is really scary. What I would honestly recommend is going to see this guy we go to who is AMAZING. He can detect what is wrong with you and he uses very non-invasive herbal, homeopathic, and natural healing to face the problem and heal you. Trust me when I tell you he is amazing because my husband too has had major major health issues, all diagnosed incorrectly by regular conventional doctors. Please please give it a try before frustrating and causing yourself more heartache. I have total faith in this doctor (he is an MD) and have nothing but totally been satisfied and IMPRESSED BEYOND BELIEF with his knowledge, ability, and approaches. Please give it a try. His name is Dr. Jeff Gore, MD and he practices in Deerfield/Riverwoods. It is right off the tollway and a straight shot from the Edens expressway. He will do a VERY thorough assessment at first and then work with you right away to address your health issues. I can almost promise he will help you feel like a new person. If you want more info about him please feel free to call me ###-###-####. He runs the Center for Holistic Medicine. Good luck and be well, stay well, and feel well.

I agree with the poster about drinking too much. I know that water is good for you but doctors recommend 8 8oz glasses a day unless you are trying to lose weight then drink a few extra glasses a day. This was per a dietician that my husband saw several years ago. Please cut back on the amount of water. If you feel thirsty all the time and that is why you drink so much there may be an underlying cause such as diabetes.

Your water consumption may be your problem. Drinking too much water is very bad for you. A woman died as part of a radio contest from drinking 2 gallons of water. I got this from a website on drinking too much water.

Your kidneys must work overtime to filter excess water out of your blood circulatory system. Your kidneys are not the equivalent of a pair of plumbing pipes whereby the more water you flush through your kidneys, the cleaner they become; rather, the filtration system that exists in your kidneys is composed in part by a series of specialized capillary beds called glomeruli. Your glomeruli can get damaged by unnecessary wear and tear over time, and drowning your system with large amounts of water is one of many potential causes of said damage.
