M. - although it might be a little early for boys, I'm thinking this might be a sign that he is ready to start potty training... My husband and I have one son, 5 years old, at this point. He started getting interested in the bathroom and the toilet around this time and he would also pull off his diaper at really inopportune times (like there is any really good time to do this!). My mom, a mother of four, said that in her experience children often start feeling uncomfortable in their wet and dirty diapers around this age. They are up and moving around so much more and the nasty diapers get in the way. Once they learn that they can take them off and run around free... yeah, free... then they just love to take them off. If you have any other hints as to when he might go pee-pee or poopy (listen to me, what language) (my son always got really quiet and still) then you might be able to head him off and take him off to the bathroom and introduce him to a toddler toilet. It doesn't always work because you have to catch them at the right time but I think this might be a good indication that he might be ready to begin the training process. There are several things on the web that discuss potty training - the do's and don'ts (unfortunately I don't remember where I got them before). I would suggest checking on that and then trying it out with him. Then, it's off to big boy pants and bye-bye stinky diapers! Good luck. C.
