I used to drive an hour each way to go to a photographer out in Keller that would charge me a set fee per roll of film (or digital pics on a CD) and then give me the film and a copyright waiver so I can have the pictures printed myself. Now that I have 3 kids 5 and under, I don't want to drive that much. Does anyone have a photographer that they use that does this and is reasonably priced? I live in McKinney, but would drive to nearby cities. Thanks for your help.
I know two photographers, but I think they both do digital work not film. I think either one of them would let you just purchase the cd without prints, but I am not 100%. They are both in my home subdivision in McKinney and are both wonderful people. Try giving them a call.

I don't know of anyone using film these days. Most everyone uses digital and gives you a cd.
Definitely use Terry Smith, her website is www.clarinesmith.com She does absolutely wonderful work, and her only business is shooting the pictures and then giving you the cd with a waiver. She is also very reasonably priced, and a mom on this website! She has shot pictures for us on a number of occassions (and will be again this weekend!) I can't say enough about her!
Oh, and she lives in Frisco, but will meet you to shoot wherever you want her to :)
