yes...my ob always told me just to keep it on for only about ten min. You will be fine. Congrats on the next baby!
Is it safe to use a heating pad on my spine/shoulders while pregnant?

Hey D....I am a midwife and I can honestly say...trust the instinct that had you ask. There aRE elecrtomagnetic cuurents running through the pad. I would probably suggest using a hotwater bottle, or using the disposable heating products. Also, I have a cranial/chiro guy that I trust with my clients that has gotten them some amazing results. His name is Robert Norrett and he has been teaching all over the world and is especially great with pregnancy. Give him a call and get some relief! ###-###-####. It can only improve your pregnancy and allieviate any blocks that might impede the ease of your birth process!
All the best!

I had to use one on my back when I was pregnant with my first. Everything was fine.
Just don't put it around your belly! You don't want to 'cook" your baby; that's why when pregnant you shouldn't go in hottubs... But isolated heat, away from the baby is fine.
I would ask your OBGYN just to be on the safe side.
to be safe, you need to ask your doctor!
