I am looking for a store in the Portland area that offers "good prices" mainly for essential oils. I don't mind if it includes other healthy/earth friendly shopping. This is all new to me so any educational advice on places and ideas that have worked for you would be great...thanks!
Escentuals on Hawthorne carries many many essential oils. Prices are very reasonable.
Check out Liberty Naturals. http://www.libertynatural.com/
They are on Stark street. They require a minimum purchase but you can get a whole collection of oils for the same price you would pay at Whole Foods.
www.frontier-coop.com has a great selection. I order via thier wholesale site every couple months for a small group of friends and family. But you can also join a co-op www.crunch-cooperative.com and they host a great Frontier coop monthly.

Trader Joes and Limbo right next door to TJ on 39th--half a block from Holgate. Limbo has the herbs and oils and TJ's as everything else!
New Seasons and Whole Foods both carry essential oils aa well as a number of other natural health care products. They are also a grocery store with organic foods. The sell books and magazines focusing in health and beauty using natural approaches.
I love shopping at both stores. I always find good food at reasonable prices. They have a deli and a cafe. The stores' focus is on natural products.
