J.K.
Just last week, I was having devotions with the kids and we were reading Proverbs before school. The passage was talking about being lazy. The kids asked me if they were lazy. I said that if they had to ask me, then most likely they were lazy because the opposite of lazy is taking initiative. I said if they're making a conscious effort to take initiative to do what they're suppose to do without being asked or just doing things that they see needs done without having to be asked, then they're not lazy. But if they have to ask me, then they probably are. That day, they all took initiative. Messes were being cleaned up, chores were being done and the house stayed clean.... for a whole day!!!! =) Now we're back to lazy..LOL But I'll take what I can get!! =)
