C.M.
i used it last summer. i started after i met a lady who was so beautifully tanned and she said all she uses is the jergens glow! i liked it, i didn't use it as often as i should but it worked for me.
I came across this item and wondering if anyone has tried it. If so, share some pros/cons to this? Thanks.

one "con" is that it has ingredients that have not been proven safe. your skin is your largest organ and you want to be careful what you put on it.
i use the jergens natural glow lotion and i LOVE it!! It has worked great for me just to get a little tan look for summer. in mn your skin does not see sun for like 8 months so you get pretty white over the winter. This does not make you dark tan, but it does help a lot to get rid of the pasty white look.
I tried using this Jergens Natural Glow at one time, and though I liked the idea of not having to take in excessive harmful UVA rays from the sun, it discolored all of my towels. I found that when I showered and then dried, it would rub off. If there were a way around this, I would like the product. Does anyone have any suggestions??
I have been using it since it came on the market. I spend a fair amount of time in the sun but in the early spring and throughout the winter I use it to develop a healthy looking glow instead of looking like the walking dead.
I have never noticed a bad smell. To me it smells like just about any other "sun product" only lighter and the scent fades after a bit.
Exfoliating before using any tanning lotion is important though because like a previous poster said the dead skin cells absorb more of the color than the fresh ones and gives you an uneven coating of color. I use on of those exfoliating mitts/gloves that you can get at the Dollar Tree. They work great!
I'm using the Nivea brand self-tanning "glow" lotion right now. LOVE IT! After only 2 uses in 2 days, I already notice a very subtle, very natural looking difference. I am olive complexion and bought the fair to medium tone lotion because I was concerned medium to dark would be too much/unatural looking. Just be sure to wash your hands after you use it or the palms of your hands will look unnaturally tanned too, and also, if you have any dry skin patches, exfoliate first... my feet started looking darker than the rest of my legs until I realized it was collecting in the dead skin and discoloring a darker color there than it does in healthy skin - but once I exfoliated, it took it away and it's been fine since. Good luck.
Didn't like it! It did work to tan me a little bit. I used it when I had tans lines and was going to be in a wedding. The smell is really bad (I could barely stand it) and my husband would complain when I used it because of the smell. A friend of mine said the same thing. She stopped using it and her roommate continued to use it and she was bothered by the smell.
I threw it away after using about half the bottle.
