Has Anyone Ever Had MULTIPLE Positive Ovulation Tests? What Does This Mean????

i think they test for the hormone LH which is produced by the body for several days around ovulation. LH starts to rise around day 10 and peaks around day 12-14 and ovulation occurs approx day 14 (this is average for a 28 day cycle) so if you test every day during that time frame and a few days after, i'd say you'd probably see a positive each day.

Hi there! My husband and I used the ovulation tests for about a year to help us get pregnant this time. From what our doctor told us, sometimes they are not always accurate. I went months without ovulating according to the tests. Which made me very worried that something was wrong. So our doctor recommended taking my temperature in the morning right when I woke up with a basal thermometer. I charted for a month. Supposedly a woman's temp spikes when she is ovulating and will stay higher than usual if she is pregnant. We used this method for one month and got pregnant the first time. You can google how to chart and get the charts online or from your OBGYN. I liked this method better as I could see the results pretty much everyday as my body temp rose around ovulation and then we just had sex every other day during that time. WE GOT PREGNANT! So it worked!

I ovulate a couple times in a month sometimes, but a positive lasting almost a week straight is strange unless it's saying your at your most fertile time but not actually ovulating each of those days. I just don't know...

Sometimes this can mean you are pregnant. This did happen to me and I was pregnant, although I later miscarried. I am also trying to conceive and have been trying since December, 06. So, Im right in there with ya and wishin the best for you. Try taking a pregnancy test if you have not already.
