Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has taken their children to the Zoo Boo at the San Antonio Zoo? I would like to take my son but i don't really know what to expect. Is the entire zoo open during these hours? Any input would be great and really appreciated.

I have a four year old and a two year old and we go every year. The kids have a blast. I have always gone the night before Halloween and it is still pretty crowded. Parking is a bit of a problem, but worth it.

It has been years (my daughter will be 16 this December) but for 4 years in a row we went. We started when she was 5 and continued until the year she would have turned 10. It was a blast! It is very family oriented and they have things for all age groups. I would definitely take them! Yes the zoo is completely open during this time.
I have never been, but we just got a membership this year and a friend of mine said, "just don't go during halloween...". I hear it is super crowded and you spend most of your day waiting in lines. We all know how painful that can be with little ones!
Zoo Boo is nice for the little ones, it is basically just trick-or-treat inside the zoo, plus face painting and a few other activities. They have a costume parade and you have access to the zoo at night. If you go to the Zoo's website you can see pics and get more info.
