L.S.
I saw it a little while ago and couldn't get past the first few seconds. Once she started swinging that baby like a little chimp I just had to stop! It's CRAZY that someone would let her even *touch* their child!!
Came across a video on utube by accident........searched the net and found more pictures and even an interview with L. Fokina(on Dadwagon.com) and even pics of the baby 2 years later who appears to be ok..........wow has anybody seen it? what do you think? Having a 5 months old myself it was hard to watch. I do not know....... what about Shaken baby syndrome?? Just wondering what everyone thinks......
ps. it is a real thing....

Can u post the link? I had not even heard of this until your post.....
Usually when babies don't cry and have absolutely no expression, they are in shock. To me, that baby looked in shock...not like it was a "relaxing" experience. The video made me sick. That woman had a very strong body, at first I thought she was a man (Not that it matters what she looks like) I can't imagine how strong she was and shes throwing a baby around. It's scary.
I think its fake, i mean who in their right mind.........?.......
I don't want to see it! I don't think any baby should be swung around!
I think I watched with my mouth hanging open in disbelief. Its not natural to want to do that to a little baby.
After reading this yesterday & then spending way to much time watching video & reading interviews...I did this with my 7 month old last night! JUST KIDDING!!!!!!! WOW...I showed it to my husband last night and we were both just kind of in awe. Obviously there are concerns with swinging a kiddoo like that but all of the stuff I read was saying how the kids are older now & fine...still not something I would do.
I hadn't heard of it until i saw your post. I went and read the interview too.
Wowzers. Aside from shaken baby and all that....how can they do it if they can't support their head?
It's just crazy to see.
I remember seeing that a couple of weeks ago; my husband came across it while he was on the internet. It was the strangest thing I have ever seen. The most amazing thing was that the babies weren't crying, didn't look like they were scared or in pain....they looked as if it was the most normal thing in the world. I say, I respect the fact that other people do things differently, but it is definitely not something I would try with my own kids (if I tried that when my kids were babies, I think I would have a heart attack!!). :-)
