Hanging Damp Clothes--don't Want the Hanger Indention!!!

I have many shirts and sweaters that I like to fluff in the dryer after washing and then hang on the hanger to complete drying. I have a few of those "shoulder shaper" hanger attachments from BB & B that work well.

I'm wondering if any of you creative moms have come up with an alternative to using those. They are a wee bit pricey, and I would love to make something else work that's cheaper.

Any ideas?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Holy Cow!!! Inside out! What a great idea. Then the little nubby indention is against the body instead of sticking up!!

I agree with the drying rack. I use mine for all kinds of things.

I use the hanger that you get from stores when you purchase clothes. Kohls has really nice ones. These hangers are shaped more like shoulders than the hangers that have the triangle shape. I have never had a problem with these types of hangers.

Don't hang them!
I never hang my tops. I have a collapsible drying rack ($40, bed bath and beyond) where I drape nearly everything I wash.
No hangers, no problems!

Don't hang sweaters! Get the nice dress hangers - clear plastic (not the tube or those flat style hangers) from Target or Walmart - they do not leave an indention. I hang or put on a drying rack ALL of my family's shirts and I have NEVER had a hanger indention on our shirts. And I hang them right side out...

Yep, the trick is to hang shirts inside out. Then, you don't walk around with the shoulder nipples! LOL
