Hi moms. I volunteered to bring veggies to my son's fall festival at school this week. I'm looking for fun ideas of how to present the veggies. Maybe a different way of cutting them up, serving them, etc. I had though about maybe buying some mini pumpkins, hollowing them out, and having the veggies stick out the top? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Take peppers red and yellow, etc they are the sweetest and cut off and empty out. Then cut celery and carrots thinly and place inside as if it were hair. You can use olives to make eyes. Hope that helps
Hi G.,
Somone just asked something similar... I was going to repost my answer, but here is the link to the orignal question and ALL the answers:

Have fun!
I saw something cool in a magazine...you slice up a cucumber and then cut the slices in half. Then you align them to make a windy snake. Use a black olive slice for an eye and pimento for the tongue and serve with dipping hummus or salad dressing.
Semi Homemade with Sandra Lee - she does a Haloween episode every year and she has really inventive, fun ideas. You can look her up on FOod Network.com
I like your mini pumpkin idea. You can put Ranch in a one and suround it with others filled with celery sticks, mini carrots, etc.
