Do any of you moms know of some really fun activities to do for the kindergarten's halloween party at school? Since most kids like to feel stuff I thought about making spagehtti for like brains and some jello for something I really don't remember this one need to look it up but any other activites would be greatfull. S.

What can I do next?

If I remember from when I was in the Brownies (Yikes...TOO many years ago!) it was peeled grapes in water for eyeballs, spaghetti with a little oil for intestines, cauliflower with olive oil for brains, peanut shells for "toenails", but I guess anything peanut is out these days...a flat piece of chicken or something for a tongue, rice was "maggots" (maybe too much for kindergarteners!), jello was just deemed "Guts" and maybe some "gummy worms" wet would make good worms?
I remember we did it where we had to put our hands into a hole in a box to feel these things. (And on the last one, someone on the other side grabbed your hand....but I wouldn't recommend that with the young kids!)

We do a Halloween party at home every year--some of my kids favorites are:
1.Making mummies-Put the kids in groups of 3-4. Let them choose who will be the "mummy." Then, hand each group a roll of toilet paper. The kids race to see who can wrap up the "mummy" with all the toilet paper the fastest-they LOVE this one!
2. Scarecrow relay race-divide the kids into 2 groups, supply a flannel shirt, shoes, hat, etc. One child dresses up, runs across the room and back, then passes the clothes to the next child, etc.
3. I'm not sure if you have a budget for the party or not, but crafts always go over well at that age-you could always ask for other parents to donate items.
4. You can always have them toss candy corns into a pumpkin.
Usually, the simpler, the better when it comes to 5-6 year olds. They love anything different.

peeled grapes for eyeballs. that would be a great idea and then see if they can guess what it is (fruit wise).

dancing to the monster mash. Parents magazine had a bunch of ideas in it for halloween parties for younger kids.
