I'm fairly new to Anchorage, I'v just moved from Seward.
In Seward there is a halloween carnival held at the middle school
by the boys and girls club.
Just about everyone in town goes.
Is their someplace like that in anchorage?

Please let me know what you like to do with your children for halloween

What can I do next?

Hello J., Well I dont know about any free places but ACS does a trick or treat town every year it is $4.00 or $5.00 per person and yes adults have to pay as well. But it is alot of fun and my kids have always had a great time. It is safe and warm. I know that this year it will be on Friday the 27 and Saturday the 28. I have always bought my tickets at the imaginariam (not sure on spelling) down town. Hope you all have a safe and happy Halooween. J.

hi there...welcome. There are a number of churches that go all out.Change Point is doing a carnival. They have changed locations, they are off of Raspberry/Minn exit.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.I have a 16 year old and a 7 mo old. I will be getting back into this and that is where I took my daughter growing up....she loved it.Way more fun than the mall.

You can also buy tickest online for the Trick-Or-Treat Town at the ACS Warehouse. Go to the Imaginarium's website (www.imaginarium.org) and click on the link for the Trick-or-Treat Town. This will be our first year attending (my daughter is just 9 months) but I've heard so many good things about it.

Hi Jamie - My children's Halloween favorites are Trick or Treat town (http://www.imaginarium.org/tott.html) at the ACS whse & Zoo Boo(http://www.alaskazoo.org/eventdetailhome.htm). Last year Russian Jack chalet put on a carnival with a really nice 'haunted trail' the kids could trick or treat on. I have not heard anything about that yet. Your local school probably puts on a carnival for neighborhood kids, check with them.

Good Luck and have a Happy Halloween!
