I need some ideas for trick or treat gifts for 2 of my best friends' kids. One is a little boy that will be 3 1/2 mos old, and the other is a 6 mo old little girl. I thought I could get juice, etc for the little girl, but wasn't sure what to get the little boy. Or, I could just get some toys for both of them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Target had these cool pumpkin flashlights. On their dollar isle, they also have some neat stuff, but for the 6 month old, you really have to be careful. A cute plush or baby book may be your best bet for her if you want toys over treat.
you can usually find cute little halloween stuffed toys around anywhere, even the dollar store, they actually have lots of small cute toys there
Well, here's what my best friend and I did when our babies were 3 1/2 mos old at Easter time. We made one of those bunny cakes and took their pictures beside it and then WE ate the cake! So you might want to make a jack-o-lantern cake or just make the jack-o-lantern pumpkin for each. Cheap enough. Then take the friend's baby's picture by it and have it framed for your friend(s). The children won't know anything about Halloween for some time, but the mom will cherish the picture. We both still have ours 30 years later.
By the way since you are having twins you might want to consider a diaper service for a few months. We currently have two sets of twins and one set of triplets due in January. How nice to diaper the baby and then toss the used one in the pail. If you are interested, send me a private message.

You could also think about getting them a cute halloween books, that kind of gift will last a good while!! just and idea.
Target had some cute halloween board books in the dollar section that the baby and the little girl would like. They also had alot of cute little things for the little girl.
I have a 3.5 mo old and I think a nice halloween frame for their costume pic would be great. Elizabeth isn't going to know what she got and stuffed toys aren't always safe at this age. She bites everything!!! If you must get something for the baby, check into babies r us for items for the specific age group.
