It depends upon where it is and if it's already plumbed for one...like a basement...

If you do a lot of the labor yourself - you can do it for about $1,000...however, if you need a contractor to do the plumbing for you - thousands...

Go to Angie's List and search for a good plumber and contractor in your area. get at least THREE quotes and ensure that you do reference checks and can see their work.

You could pay anywhere from $1000 (as the previous poster said) if you already have plumbing and do the labor yourself, up to $20,000 or more if you need to reroute plumbing, frame in walls, move load bearing walls, etc.

Add more details and we might be able to help!

It depends on if the plumbing is there and if not, what kind of foundation you have. I think a slab foundation is much harder to add to than a pier and beam with a crawl space underneath. Both will be expensive but the slab will be more so, I think. Something else to consider is if you are on city sewer or a septic tank. When we added a room on the back of the house, we thought we would add a bathroom. Since we have septic tanks, with all the new restrictions, we would have needed a whole new septic system. It would have cost a lot. We didn't get a new bathroom. :(

We did, but the plumbing was already there. Materials cost about $1000, but my husband did it himself, so we didnt pay labor. Hope this helps!

If the rough plumbing already exists, and you're looking at basic fixtures and flooring you could do it for $1,500. There are so many things to consider, that it could cost up to $15,000. Have someone come in and give you a quote.
