Granite Cleaner

Can anyone recommend a granite cleaner that they love. I have black granite counter tops. I have tried so many different products store bought and DIY. I'm still left with haze. I use one made by ZEP and it does seem to work, but it smells so strongly of chemicals that I don't use that often.

What can I do next?

I make my own for my black granite. Rubbing alcohol, Fawn dish soap, water and essential oil for the scent. Don't use vinegar as it is too acidic and will pit the stone.

I use Method which does not have alot of chemicals.

Granite needs to be sealed once a yr, too.

Touch of Purple cleaner.
was designed for boat windows, but endorsed by DeBeers diamonds to shine their jewels. Works great on granite (computer screens, glasses, diamonds). I also have black granite and have not been happy with any granite cleaners until I discovered this.

The guys who installed our granite told us to use Windex multisurface . Don't get the one with vinegar because you shouldnt put vinegar on your granite.they went to a seminar and thats what they were told works best for everyday. It does keep it shiny too :0)

When my aunt was undergoing chemo I went over to clean her house, she also has black granite. When she came home she said, my God what did you use, the counters look so good?!
A little Windex on a rag, after a good warm soapy scrub and rinse.
I have dark green granite that is close to seven years old and all I ever use is a hot, soapy washcloth, and the occasional Windex for a little extra shine, that's all :-)

Method makes a great one, I think it's called Daily Granite. They sell it at Whole Foods, but I've seen it at Target as well.

Method Daily Granite is wonderful. I use that about once per week. On a daily basis, just a damp sponge and soap and water.

I have granite counter tops too and I've been using the Lysol's kitchen cleaner/disinfectant spray and it works for me, or you can try mixing cooking oil and lemon I heard this works too. Goodluck!
