F.H.
My daughter when she was younger called my mom "grammie", my son whose younger called her "mimi" because he couldn't say grammie. now that they are older they actually call her "grandma". and their dads parents they call nana and papa.
What do your kids call their grandparents. My DD Delilah calls Grandma "Gammie", and Grandpa "Gappie".

One set of grandparents are called "Grammy" and "Papa".
The other set are called "Mooma" and "Papa".
We have Grammy and Poppy
Mimi and Papaw
Grandpa Great and Grandma Mary (step).
And Gigi. Short for Great Great Grandma. She's 104!
We are Grandma and Papa, my ex is Granddad and his wife is Memaw. My grandkids other grandparents are not interested in the kids and have shown no interest in visiting them or going to their activities.
We didn't get creative here, my mother was Grandma, and my inlaws are Grandma and Grandpa. My sister, however is Nala to her granddaughter (stands for Nana Lauren).
My daughter just has 1 grandparent and she calls her Nana or Nanny which ever comes out of her mouth.
We have lots so we had to get creative, lol.
My Mom - Nana
My Dad - Papa
DH Mom - Grammy
DH Dad - BoomBoom (he shoots trap)
DH StepMom - Gigi
DH StepDad - Papa Don or Don
DH Grandmother 1 - Grandma
DH Grandmother 2 - NanyNany
DH Grandfather 1 - Grandpa
DH Grandfather 2 - PJ
MIL and FIL are grandma and papaw. MIL refuses to be called anything else.
Our son has a Gammie and Grandpa and a Nana and Papa.
"Gammie" is not a favorite term. My BIL HATES the name Gammie and thinks it's not respectful. He wants to call his son's grandma "Grandma" but she says her name is Gammie - "what's more respectful than calling me the name I want to be called?" They had to have a sit-down-talk so that my BIL understood that Gammie wants to be called Gammie and not Grandma.
Nana got her name b/c my neice (the first grandkid) looked at a banana and said "nana". My mom decided that was going to be her name.
I know a Mimi and a Pop and a Poppie and a PawPaw.
My mom is "Mo," my dad is "Op," and my MIL is "Nana." I only had grandpa and grandma growing up. My kids call my mom's dad Grandpa and her mom Grandma...but that's it :).
My parents are Nana and Papa. My grandmother is Granny. These are the only grandparents my kids have.
My parents - Grandma and Grandpa. MIL - Nana (her choice).FIL is deceased.
We're boring. Grandpa and Grandpa...we'll insert a last name if needed. We have one step-grandpa and he goes by Grandpa Bill, but I'm thinking I'd like to drop off the grandpa part because he's so not a good grandpa!
Nanna and Poppa, Grams and Gramps
my Gr Gr Gpa was "GrandSir". Love that name!
my Gr Gma was "Mam Mam", because as a toddler I could not say Gr Gma Manns.
The rest of my gparents have simply been gma & gpa.
& then we have the warped sense of humor with myself, my DH, & my Sis: my son went thru a phase where he could not say "Gpa"....it sounded like "gampon"....which of course we changed to "tampon". My Dad hated it! Lasted a very short time! :) Thanks for the memories!
My parents are divorced, and remarried, so my son has three sets of grandparents. One set is Grandma and Pippaw, one is Grandmama and Duke, the other is Doc and Gammie..The duke was just a running joke, however, it stuck. Doc is well, my father is a dr. so it kind of went well with Duke..
My mom and dad are Nanny and Poppy. My MIL is Granny.
For my family it has went
Granparents are mamaw and papaw, step grand parents are mamaw (name) or papaw (name) and great grandparents are granny and grandpaw unless like my mom-in-law wants to be called grandma so we are trying out oma and my step mom has started with nana
it's always been grandma and grandpa (insert first or last name) in our family, and the greats were called great grandma and great grandpa with the exception of my greats on my dads side, they wanted to be called granny and grandpap so thats what we called them.
My grandkids call us grandma and grandpa. My granddaughter calls her other grandma Lola tho... I think that must be a Filipino term I guess?
My mom likes the grandkids to call her grandmother. Which is really cute coming out of their mouths.
