Good Sports Bras for Exercising When Breastfeeding

Trying to start a regular exercise program but my breasts are huge from nursing - hard to find one with enough support - wondering if any other Mom's have used a brand that they would recommend. I really need something to keep the girls in place when jumping, bouncing, during cardio classes. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I use the Champion sports bras. I haven't nursed in a long time, but I don't like my breasts bouncing around either. There's an extra circle of fabric sewn in to the stretchy part to provide more thickness and support, forming cups. That might work for you. Much better than the usual spandex type that forms the whole bra out of stretchy material. They aren't expensive and I find they hold their elasticity/shape well if I either rinse in the sink with a little Woolite or just put in the washer on delicate and then line dry. The dryer wreaks havoc on the elastic! I do all my undies with my regular clothes and put it on "hand wash" or even "intermittent/delicate" which are even slower in both wash and rinse cycles than the basic "delicates" setting which has a slow wash but a fast rinse. Mine have lasted for years because I've been careful. Hopefully this would work for you. Just get a bigger size than you would normally, maybe?

You can try wearing two. One on top of the other. Not terribly pretty but it gets the job done. It's what I see truly well endowed women doing at the gym.

Another vote for wearing two sports bras. For some reason two compressed everything much better than one, and greatly reduced the bouncing.

A friend of mine prefers the Wacoal (probably spelled horribly wrong) brand. She is large and likes to keep them "in line" as she puts it. She does Zumba and a few other things that really get her moving--recently took up running. She says they are totally worth the price of about $50 each or so.

I would say wear a regular nursing bra with a lot of support and wear a tank top to class for a while.
