Hi,
I was wondering if any of you knew of a good small blender? Wanted to surprise my husband for fathers day. He likes protein shakes. So this blender would just be for that and he would leave it at his work. He is trying to eat healthy and not eat out as much. Also where did u buy the blender at?
Thank u!
L.

Magic Bullett!!
I think I got ours at Costco, but it was awhile ago so I am not 100% sure.

if you don't mind plastic Target carried a single serve blender. You could drink right out of it like a cup (one thing to wash) and it was very inexpensive. It was a Hamilton Beach Single Serve.

Magic Bullet is the best - you can get it anywhere! Costco has a good deal, you can find good deals online. You can find it at most department stores - just about anywhere, really! We love ours! I even do protein shakes with fruits and veggies added sometimes - and it blends them up perfectly!

I bought the Walmart brand, which is equivalent to the Bullet for $20 at Christmas. I used it at least 2x a week for my berry shakes and it is still going strong! It came w/2 different blades, 4 large cups and 2 small cups, and 2 storage caps, and each cup came w/its own drinking top. No, they aren't color coded but for $20, I got over it.

It is a fast and strong little machine and I'm so glad I didn't spend a fortune on the Bullet (although I'm sure the Bullet is great too).

Magic bullet is great. My husband uses that and you get it at Wal-Mart, Freddies, etc.

Don't get the Ninja. I got one for my bday and the first time we put it in the dishwasher it cracked all up! Ugh!

What kind of protein shakes does he do?

If he uses a protein powder with water or milk, you can buy a special shaker bottle from GNC. It has a little metal spindle inside so when you put the water/milk and protein powder and shake it by hand, it'll mix it without the clumps.

(However, if he is a protein shake maker with ice cubes, fruit, protein, yogurt, etc. then this won't work)

I have broken 3 blenders in 2 years from making smoothies, it is ridiculously hard to find something that works well. I borrowed a friends Magic Bullet blender and used it for a week to see if I liked it. It worked quite well! So I went and bought one. I have had mine for about 6 weeks and have used it about every other day to make smoothies both for myself and for my family. It has makes nice consistent smoothies without a lot of fuss and muss. It cleans easily as long as you get water in right after you use it. It is a bit on the loud side so not something for using when a baby is asleep. Hope that helps.
