I've been nursing my son for 9 months now and have yet to find a good, supportive (D cup)nursing bra. Any suggestions anyone would like to pass on? Thank you!

I too wear a D cup and I found Bravado to be the most comfortable and supportive. I thought there would be no way I could find a NON-underwire bra that actually held my big girls up....actually more like a DD or F when full of milk. Anyway, the website is www.bravadodesigns.com Go to the Original Bra and you'll see the Double Plus Style. Hope this helps :-)

I think we need to petition to some department stores to sell a decent selection of nursing bras! Just think of how many women out of the general population are nursing and struggling with the same problem. I'm a C cup and am also frustrated by the cheap stuff out there, and lack of selection in t-shirt bras--I don't want everyone to see my lumpy boobs because of the pads I stick in there!

I just resolved to use the Motherhood bras b/c they're cheap and replace them when they don't hold up to the wash anymore. Gap (Horton Plaza) has nice ones (but not molded cups like I wanted) and you can shop online and return in any Gap if you don't like them (save postage on returns).

Someone told me about a place in Del Mar, but I haven't been there: Honeysucle & Mommy Nursing & Infant store ###-###-####. If anyone goes there, let me know if it's worth the drive from East County.

I'm nursing my 6 month old baby boy. Try going to Motherhood and see what they can do for you. You might spend a bit more, but it's worth it. I use their bras and I love them.
Good luck!

I went to the hospital where my son was born and they sold nursing bras (34F-yuck!) & they did fittings too. I'm suprised no other moms mentioned this. I delivered at Hoag (Newport Beach), not real helpful to you. But I know Sharp (San Diego) is pretty good about that stuff, if there is one next to you, or perhaps another major hospital check it out. When you call, if the hospital has no idea, ask to speak with someone about breast pumps rentals-employees might be more familiar with breast pump rentals than bra sales, which go hand-in-hand at most hospitals.

I got mine from Motherhood Maternity, and liked it. The quality was good and never fell apart or anything. I've had many years of usage with mine and many washings. It held up well. No pun intended. :)

They have a website too. Here's the link:
http://www.motherhood.com/Shop_MotherhoodMaternity/TheBra...

Their nursing bras are from cup sizes "B" thru "H." And they have all kinds of styles/colors.

Hope this helps.
